In 2008, I had the honour of winning the first Albox
Photographic Competition. This year it has grown to be
Albox, Taberno and Oria, with a huge increase in the
number entries. This idea of our local Mayor could
snowball into something really big!
In my own case, I lean toward Landscape Photography,
it's my personal joy to be able to wait for 'the Light to
be Right' and then take that picture of a defining
moment.
As you'll see from the Gallery, I shoot a lot of Panoramas - living in this part of Spain, the Sunsets are spectacular and yet, at times, the afternoon Sun and Clouds over the Coast can produce wonderful, tranquil views.
In the Gallery, you'll se a growing collection of my favourites. The 'standard' rectangular formats-either vertical or horizontal - I print A3 or larger on canvas and on stretchers. The 'letterbox' or Panorama formats can get pretty big. On Canvas, Cabopino Beach, for example, would print 75" long-this would probably work best as a Tryptich.
